The DeepView AI® – Burn software is designed to assist clinicians in assessing the healing potential of thermal burn wounds for adult burn wound assessments that take place from 0 to 7 days post-injury. The software applies a deep learning algorithm that analyzes multispectral images acquired with the DeepView Snapshot® device and highlights the locations of burns within the image that are nonhealing (i.e., deep partialthickness and full-thickness burns). The DeepView AI® – Burn system is a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). It includes functions of patient information entry, wound management, DeepView AI prediction, and result sharing. It must be installed on the DeepView SnapShot System for appropriate functioning.
